Ijaz Appeal For Review Amir 5 Years Ban To ICC
PCB chairman Ijaz Butt said that PCB is intending to appeal against the 5 year ban on Muhammad Amir. He added that it has already said by Haroon Lorgat that the minimum duration of ban is to long. They will definitely launch an appeal to review the ban of Amir.

He added that Amir has a great future ahead and he is also just 18 year old so must have age benefit. He also said that they have helped Pakistani players in the start. They also expressed desire to send their representative with players but they were rejected by ICC.

Butt said that they are totally cooperating with ICC and following the rules and regulation of ICC. He showed his intent to present a petition in the next council meeting. He also added that final decision will be made by ICC but they just launched an appeal for reduction in the minimum ban duration.

In the ICC decision on spot fixing case they said that Amir was agreed to ball No Balls and he deliberately bowled two No Balls. It also states that Salman Butt was also a party in the No Ball scandal. The allegation proved right on three Pakistani players and they got ban from international cricket.
