Lil' Wayne is sued more than he makes hit records: Rapper Lil Wayne, Young Money, Cash Money Sued For $15 Million Over "BedRock"

Tumblr_llzofvg9tc1qaypifo1_500_large

I do not know what to say about Lil' Gremlin between lawsuits and Baby collecting Lil' Wayne funds. This is not a good look for Gremlin Jr. Allhiphop reports, "Rapper Lil' Wayne has been hit with a $15,000,000 lawsuit over the hit single “BedRock.”

Done Deal Enterprises, based in Waynesboro, Georgia, filed a lawsuit against Lil Wayne, Young Money Records, and Cash Money Records, in the United States District Court, Southern district of New York, over the song.

The lawsuit, which was filed on August 1st, claims that the rapper stole their copyrighted tune “BedRock,” and incorporated it into the track of the same name, that was eventually featured on the compilation album We Are Young Money.

We Are Young Money
peaked at #1 on the Billboard Rap charts upon its release in December of 2009.

The Young Money version of the tune featured guest appearances by Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lloyd, Tyga, Gudda Gudda, Jae Millz and was originally produced by Kane Beatz.

According to the lawsuit, the single has moved an estimated 3,000,000 copies, while the album has been certified Gold (500,000 sold) by the RIAA.

The rapper and his counsel have been directed to appear in court on October 12th, 2011.

Lil Wayne's Control Your DAMN Back-Up Dancers: Arrested for Assault

I can’t…This is so funny.

I do not even know what to say or where to begin for that matter. The popular hip hop All Hiphop.com states, "Two dancers associated with rapper Lil' Wayne's tour were charged with beating up a waitress at P.F. Chang's in West Hartford, Connecticut.

The women were in town to rehearse for Lil Wayne's performance tomorrow night (July 13th) at the Comcast theater, as part of his "I Am Music II" tour.

The women are contracted performers for Lil Wayne, but they are not employees of Lil Wayne's record label Young Money Records, or the tour.

According to Hartford Police Department, the two women argued with the waitress about splitting the check.

The women left, but when they returned to get a cell phone that had been left behind, they began the assault on the waitress.

One woman pulled the waitress's hair, while another one punched her and pushed her to the ground, where the women continued the assault.

Charged in the assault were Jennifer Slaughter, 24 and Della Hamby, 26.
The dancing assailants were charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. "

Why just Why Lil Wayne, Eminem Go Into Guinness World Records

World famous rappers Lil Wayne and Eminem have made the Guinness World Records, the company announced today (June 30th), to coincide with Social Media Day.

According to Guinness, Lil Wayne's Facebook page has the Most "Likes" on a Facebook Item.

The rapper's fans posted 668,198 comments, in response to a post made on February 15, 2011, challenging the previous record set by Oreo cookies.

Lil Wayne's fans took the award away from the iconic cookie brand by posting over a half-a-million comments, in less than 24 hours.

Eminem's official page is in the Top 5 pages on Facebook, with 42.5 million "Likes," alongside major brands like Facebook's own page, YouTube.com, Zynga and pop artist, Lady Gaga.

While these records were impressive Guinness world records is community manager Dan Barrett said that more records would be broken over the next five years.

Lil' Wayne and Eminem are the most overrated rappers of all times. I do not care how the media force Lil' Wayne and Eminem as the best rappers in the game. I refuse to believe Lil' Wayne raps about the same  shit Money, loose women and bling. Most of Lil' Wayne metaphors does not make any got damn sense. As for Eminem is the token white rapper who raps about being depressed or some other shit. If Eminem was black doubt if he makes that far. Yeah I said it.

Damn Lil' Wayne another Law Suit this time he is accuse of stealing vocal sounds

How is Lil' Wayne making any money when he is constantly being sued?

Lil Wayne "Got Money" -- and now two hip-hop stars who collaborated on the hit song want their cut.

Play-N-Skillz, the stage name for brothers Juan Carols Salinas Jr. and Oscar Salinas, say in Manhattan federal court papers that they haven't gotten their share of the proceeds from the song, which is featured on Lil Wayne's 2008 Grammy-winning album "Tha Carter III."

Their lawsuit seeks "no less than $1 million" in damages.
Play-N-Skillz accused Lil Wayne of stealing instrumental and vocal sounds from a recording they cut in late 2007 called "Count My Money."
Lil Wayne allegedly used the riffs from Play-N-Skillz for "Got Money," which he performed with T-Pain.

Move over OMG Girlz!!!! A Diva in the making Miss. Reginae Carter recording new music with her dad " Lil' Wayne".

Reginae seems like a sweetheart; she seems very grounded.  I am glad Reginae is doing her own thing. I just hope her image remains the same not a want to be grown  woman like these other girls such as Willow. I hope this inspire Lil' Wayne to show a more positive example for kids. Reginae is old enough to see what is Lil' Wayne is doing, and it is time for a change. Lil' Wayne should stop promoting ignorant lyrics such as sexing every girl in the world, promoting drugs and violence. Step up and show the world you more than another rapper dumbing down the youth. It is never to late for a change.

Yes, Reginae is very talented,” Toya said. “She is very talented, smart and wise beyond her years. And I know Wayne feels the same way, that she’s a star. She been doing music with her dad lately. As long as she’s doing what she has to do in school and making good grades, I’ll support anything else.”
Last year, Lil Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant, explained that with the help of her father, Reginae will be the next big thing in music and Hollywood.
“Reginae is just a star,” Cortez said. “She wants to be singer, an actress, she does it all. A great personality.
