Both of my favorite actresses are on this show Ms. Loretta Divine, and Raven Simone. I am really proud of Raven she has a respectable career by being classy without demeaning herself unlike some other Holly Weird celebrities. And Miss. Raven Simone is highly educated which makes me appreciate her even more. Raven seems like a sweet heart. I am glad she is doing her thing acting amd career wise. You have my support Raven a young beautiful black woman who is a very talented woman. Kudos Raven Simone!!!!
In the new ABC Family show, Raven, 25, stars as Georgia, a brash, confident Southern twenty-something, who arrives in New York City to pursue her dream of becoming a famous actress.
To make ends meet, she works various part-time jobs, accompanied (often through Georgia’s sheer will) by her best friend and roommate, Jo (Delfino). Cute but socially awkward, Jo has anxiety issues and lives for science. She, too, has ambitious dreams – to get into the Physics department at a top-tier university.
Also along for the ride? Loretta Devine as Aunt Honey, Georgia’s sexy, southern aunt who allows Georgia and Jo to rent the downstairs of her lavish apartment while they’re in New York pursuing their dreams.
